Florida fishing restrictions

FWC has added catch and release for speckled trout, redfish , and snook along Pinellas and Pasco counties from Anclote River south . This will continue until 11 Oct ,2021 and be visited again at that time. The red tide at that time will be a determining factor for lifting the restrictions. As well as the amount of lost fish during the time up to 11 Oct

Knew that was coming. I don't expect those restrictions will be lifted this year or next. The charter captains love it, they don't want any of the big 3 going in a skillet

Don't fish for trout or reds as they have a big parasite problem around here, but if I'm in the right place I will surely keep a slot snook

From what I'm reading you can fish the Anclote. I'm not fishing there! I'm heading to Hudson before the red tide gets there.
