Looking for a fishing buddy

I'm a 67 year old vet that has lung issues and needs a buddy with a boat, bank fishing has about killed me literally lol.
I love fishing for all types but have limited experience when coming to salmon and steelhead more of a warmwater guy but would love to hook one of those monsters. Thanks for reading and keep on casting

I live in Salem and do have a boat. And I also need some fishing buddies, but I don't have a way to get the boat to the coast were I would like to fish for salmon. If you have a car or pickup that could hall the boat I would help with gas. My car is too small and it's to hard on the car to tow the boat that far. We could also do some salmon fishing from the bank or steelhead fishing in the winter from easy access points. Right now I am fishing the Nehalem river fishing from the dock casting spinners because I don't have help to get the boat to the water and the marina doesn't have a place for it.

Thanks for replying I have only a small Subaru Impresa w/ no tow hitch :-( Sounds good maybe we can try some bank fishing for steelhead and salmon this winter, I have no experience at all when it comes to fishing for those species but YouTube is amazing instructor lol. Cheers
