Welcome to the stage bass hog. I have no idea where that is at. I'd say you can catch a bass about the same way no matter where you're at. Remember Google and YouTube are great resources. good luck on the fishing and remember we like pictures

I have no idea where Lake Salmac is, but during the hot summer months live bait works good deep in the lilypads. 20# braid will get them in the boat along with all the lilypads they wrap around. Hope you catch them as big as I do!!!

If you are in Del Norte Co., I am going to assume that you mean Lake SELMAC, here in Oregon, over in Josephine county (about 40+ miles from me)...near the town of Selma.
Hey... it's bass...in a warm water fishery (rare, here in Oregon).... same as any other bass water you have fished.
Only time I fished it was 15-20 years ago, when my ex-wife had a real estate listing over there. Don't recall that it impressed me much, but then, I don't ever purposely fish for bass, anyway.
