Answered another post and got me wondering
I’m pretty consistent at reading the stage and contributing where I can
But why do I do this?
I’ve literally been bashed a few times on here . Like talk like that in a bar and one of us would take an ass beatin !
Some others consider me a subject matter expert on certain things
But , for the most part this forum is a really nice way to exchange info on fishing in general.
I like regional reports. It’s something to keep in mind when going out next weekend
Love pics of guys and gals holding something big
Also really like that we have female participants. Male dominated activity and have women actively hunting fish !! Outstanding.

And I think I’ve formed a friendship of sorts with several of you that I’ve never met.

Why do we do this?

IDK either but agree with you especially the part about friends I've never met in person

I enjoy hearing and seeing what is caught in different places across our country. I enjoy learning so many different things that others can teach me being fishing or anything else. The smiles on the kids and grandkids faces when they show there catch.

Calm winds and following seas for the most part. Really stands out amongst the gales and riffraff that surround us.

Same Here. I agree with about 90% of what you said.

No one has "Bashed me here" however a difference in some areas does exist. (Usually political)
Also, I don't claim to be an expert and I enjoy the chance to learn.
I have been fishing since the time I can remember, maybe 8 or 9 years old.
I'm bored with the NFL and the MLB and the media in general.
This is a great place to learn, and share.
Not to mention, a place to hear from a lot of great veterans.(TY)
I suppose in the end I would consider many of the stage members, "My kind of people."
I like the camaraderie.
Thanks for the topic Ben.

Carry On.

That Ben.....he feels like the lone ranger, but I and many others have quietly asked ourselves the same question a few times but, we don't dwell on it much. We just adjust and carry on................badbobby is a genuis

I like reading and seeing posts from around the country doing things that I’ll probably never do. Getting PMs from members here. Offering what has worked for me.
I bounce between two fishing sites, other admin isn’t as PC as here.
The count is 3 & 2 with two outs in the bottom of the 9th here, it can go either way. lol. But that’s what I pay my therapist for.

I believe I learn something, or hear about something new to me,on this site, nearly every single day. When I was younger I read everything I could get my hands on about all kinds of fishing. Then, maybe years later, when I had an opportunity to try it, I felt comfortable diving right in. Don't have the time to do that anymore, but this site makes a great substitute, and I've met (electronically)a boatload of wonderful people. We share many of the same views on life, and we love to fish, what more could you ask for?
