If so how are you rigging them?
The question you need to ask is are you using two poles when I’m on my boat I bring 9 poles all with different types of set ups as I’m fishing 🎣 if I feel I need to change I just lay down and pick up a different one

D T, on a boat you can do that, but us yakers are limited to space.
Billy B i have a top water rod all set up. A popping cork rod set up and a lure rod with a swivel on it for easy changes.
I've been doing well on the 3 way drop with crawfish usually i have a lure rod ready to go but i haven't caught anything with lures in like a month. The issue with the 3 way drop is it gets compromised at one point, either after catching a fish or getting the yak caught in currents.
I normally take two on occasion will take three. If I take a third it will be a five foot ultralight that I can lay in front of me and move to one of the rod holders when using another rod. One rig is usually set up with a wacky rig and the other with a snap so I can change lures quickly and easily. The ultralight will almost always be set with a slip bobber for crappie fishing.
All right i like the idea of using the ultralight! Thank you
I have a 12 ft nucanoe frontier. In a kayak, the simpler the better. My kayak rods are all kistler rods 6-6 to 6-9 in length. I usually bring 3 rods, laid out in front of me in my kayak. Those lengths work well because they don’t hang out over the front of the kayak and get hung up or end up with tips broken. I don’t use rod holders. Especially the type that has your fishing rods stuck up in the air at the back of my kayak. Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out why those types of rod holders are a bad idea...lol...I have one rod rigged with a crank bait of some type , depending on where I’m fishing. I have one rod rigged with a soft type swimbait. And I have one rod rigged for plastic worm fishing. I use those 3 rigs most of the time. I do bring different lures that I can rig on any of those rods if conditions change . Like I can rig a topwater on the crankbait rod, or I can rig a senko on the plastic worm rod...My 2cents..
I usually have 3 poles. Drop shop with a slip bobber, ned rig and UL ned rig.
best two poles i ever went fishing with are kowalski and uncle stephchew
