My closest water is 30+miles. I like fishing youghiogheny river lake n deep creek .lake in md. Long ride alone. Never know what might happen. Worse part is the ramp. Drop boat park truck n hope nothing is missing when i get back to ramp. Too many dock rats hanging out.

It sounds like your mother (nature) is calling you buddy. You don't want to ignore her. Get out there and wet a line. Good night my friend.

Sorry to hear you have to go that far and put up with the w rats. I am lucky in that regard. Pretty rural here, lots of farms. I can actually walk to bald eagle creek if I’m looking for trout or smallies. It’s about 200 yards from my front door

You can't beat that. Alot of small streams around here but most ground is posted now. Thanks to a few idiots that keep leaving their trash.

Trouble here most of the water was stocked with trout. Without owner permission they won't stock. Fist day of trout season here n across the line in md is like a black Fri sale. I quit going

I do 2or3 trips for trout. I would much sooner go for bass. It’s a lot better since I retired,I can pretty much go when it’s not so crowded

Gmorn Slim. I ride up to Raystown a few yrs ago to take a look. That place was crazy. I've heard spring is best time for bass. Alot of water to cover. Many yrs ago before i started bass fishing i heard a guy talk about a tournament at Rtown. Fog came in n he missed weight in. Couldn't find his way back. No gps then.

I have a 1754 cc tracker. I'm not going out on main lake there. I just looked up glendale. 122 miles 2 1/2 hrs. It's that far to western md where i like to fish. May have to drive north one day. Is fishing as good as they say

Sorry I didn’t get back to this sooner grizz. Fishing there is about the same as everywhere else. I have had excellent days there and others are so so. I do always catch fish of some kind. Have been told that there are fish in there that will scare you but they sure would be fun to hook
