My wife and I just spent 2 awesome days with kids and grandkids fishing in Montana. Caught one mud turtle on a night crawlers, turned it loose, and I have to say it was the best fishing trip I’ve been on in decades. Not one bite from a fish and I still came home with the best limit I’ve had in a very long time. The skies were full of smoke from the Canadian wild fires, traffic was bumper to bumper in most places on the 350 mile trip and none of it was a problem. Kept the focus on the important stuff and I can’t remember the last time I had such an awesome reset to life. My youngest daughter was there from Germany with my grandson. We haven’t seen them in, over, three years. My oldest daughter lives there and seeing her is like a new beginning every time we see her. Our two boys couldn’t be there but they’ll be to our place for some fall fishing and then again for hunting season as well as ice fishing this winter. When things begin to seem a little sketchy just go spend time with your family and loved ones. That’s puts reality and the important things all back into perspective. We can’t wait to see them all again and we’ve made a plane to make that our main focus in life from here on out and should have all along. My wife works with two of the worst narcissistic people I’ve ever met. Sometimes being around people like that mis-aligns your thinking process. Don’t let that happen. Take time away and let your family and friends help you stay on track. I lived in a very negative environment for 25 years. Just the opposite of where I grew up. All in the name of making “good money”After that amount of time I was upset with myself trying to just fit in with my area. Oh I made good money alright and I don’t regret that part. I’m now able to get back to my roots and enjoy the rest of my life in a much more positive setting, closer to my family and surrounded by, like minded, happy, positive people. The best thing I did was rid myself of all of that “big money” and get back to where I was really supposed to be.
Have a great day everyone😎
Teresa, my wife, took the big picture. Kinda big for a selfie😂 Teresa is not big into getting her picture taken. Lol

The boys on the far left and far right are my grandsons from the little one (oldest daughter in the blue) the one on the left is 18 and 6’2” and will keep you in stitches 24/7. He’s hiding under the picnic table to escape my youngest grandson’s cast😂
Very nice Catfish! Glad that you got all that quality time with family! You can never reel back in the years already spent...but you sure can help shape the present and future! Sounds like you have a contented heart and a positive attitude about life...and that will carry you a long long way!
Good looking family. I believe you had a nice time.
