I have trouble getting around due to strength loss while healing from a foot wound. It's finally healed, but I have no strength to climb embankments. I have a 7 weight Winston BIII, and a3 weight CTS crystalGlass that I want to use, with my hand-tied flies, terrestrials, nymphs, dry flies, streamers. I also have grandchildren who want a reasonable chance at catching fis. Any rivers/streams near Helena that anyone can recommend?

I'm getting ready to have a go at Canyon Ferry east of town, but in my research I came across a website that claimed Lake Helena just northeast of town is mostly fished from the shore with what they claim are pretty fair results.
