Welcome to the Forum, Gunner. And you have to come on with a question like that! I have never heard of stone cats, but I have used willow cats for walleye bait. You could use them at one time and then they made it illegal to use them, now, I think you can use them again. Willow cats are super walleye and smallmouth bait. I could catch all kinds of walleyes using them in the Miss. River. But, I could never catch a walleye in a lake using them. I don't think they are natural food in a lake. IDK, guessing. Anyway, they just got so expensive to buy them, like $2.00 apiece, if you could find a bait shop that had them. I quit looking for them. Willow cats are poisonous if you get stung by them, are stone cats? Good luck!
Are those cats in the Rockies?
