Hells Canyon Bassin

If you have watched the news or weather you know that Oregon has been HOT! Well , I’m a placed called Hells Canyon it can be real hot. But that doesn’t mean you can’t go Bass fishing. I go a little earlier or later in the day avoiding mid day . We have done quite well. The smallmouth are always on the bite. Have been catching a lot of perch and crappie. When it’s hot ,I throw small baits , spinners or use Senko worms wacky rigged will little to no weight. When I caught this bass it was 97 degrees.

Nice bass Frank. Are you at Brownlee? I’m headed to Pittsburgh landing in the morning. Sounds like the bass are still on the bite good down there too. Thanks for sharing the picture and info👍👍

Very Nice Smallie your have there Frank. I’ll bet your fishing in a little deeper water at 97* to hook into those. What little I know about SM is when the temp goes Up, the Smallies go Down.
