Line recommendation for soft plastic swimbaits

So I I like throwing soft plastic swimbaits (usually 3-4in keitechs on a jig head or weighted hook) on my 7ft MF baitcast setup. I was wondering what you all recommend for line? Straight fluoro or is it possible to do braid to fluoro? What line type and # test do you recommend for this style? Thanks!

I use braid as my main line with a fluoro leader on most of my rods, and that includes when I use soft plastics. I usually use a 15# or 20# braid main line with anywhere between 8#, 10#, or 12" fluorocarbon leader, depending on what I am fishing for.
