Troy my wife is my best friend also. 40 years married and 16 in the military with me. I help her bake and cook and she helps me Barbeque. We were there to help each other get through cancer together at different times of our 40 years. We traveled so much in these years. We have two daughters one son and 5 grandkids. I am so fortunate to have her.

Cassie and I are married 17 years. I was married 13 yrs the first time. So was she{weird} I tell Cassie I wish I met you 20 yrs earlier. She says "but we might not have hit it off then". True I guess.

Hi G. Belive me I'm my worst critic n ememy at times.I try to treat people decent. I was the family go to when i was a kid. Help move do roof work because everyone else was afraid to get on the roof. Not one of them ever helped me with anything when. I got older. I was in marines when my grandfather died. I told his kids only thing i wanted was the old 22 single shot. I learned on it. One uncle got it n decided to keep it. He didn't hunt. Another got paps old pick up. He'd let me use it when i came home. Told him if he decided to sell it let me know. Six months later he sold it to a neighbor. I disconnected all of them. Only had one best friend. Cancer took him 20 yrs ago. Rest turned out like family all take no give. No tears from me brother I'm in a good place mama nature n all her glory still has my back. She's kicked my butt a few times but she's given me more good times. 👍👍

Not at all G not at all. Not sure where i got my luv for the outdoors. Sure not from home. My old man did nothing. My pap took me fishing now n then. When i was at his house i knew there was a trout stream n a big woods 1/2 mile or so frim the house. I would takeoff ngo there every chance i got. This was before the age of 10. I just felt good there. Got my ass beat a few times but i kept going. We moved so many times i never had long time friends. Except mother nature was always awalk away. Some time a couple miles but i went. Where i live now i can see the mtn n can be in it in mins. We took a ride this afternoon to a small state park. Beautiful ride n not much traffic in middle of the day. I'm one of those peope that enjoy the me time. Sitting by a mtn stream being on a small lake on floating down the river a on a quite day. When i was working I'd get wired up with the idiots i had for bosses. Finally learned it was worth it. Pride in work was no longer a thing. Wife said i needed meds n i told her i had them a short drive away. Most of the people i know are on anti depressants. I'm not taking meds. Brother I'll be 75 in Oct n I'm still alive. 2017 was rough. The yr wife list her kid bother in Jan n my daughter passed in April. We grived n survived. No losses since than. I absolutely enjoy every day i wake up. Good day or bad day we're all still here. Yep I'm a knucklehead for sure with a big dose of bullhead throwed in.
