Spent a week up there about 20 years ago. It was magnificent! Beautiful scenery, wildlife everywhere, a lake where you can fish, swim, rent paddleboats --- a fantastic week except for 2 things: First, the mosquitoes were ridiculous. Buy enough repellent for a whole season - and then double it. Second, the fishing sucked. Not a bite in a week! And I'm a pretty good fisherman. Good luck. It is a place of beauty.

Yes. Best of luck to you. Spoke with a guy who has a house there over the weekend. He said the mosquitoes are not as bad as they used to be. He isn't a fisherman, so he really had no useful information whatsoever. :)
