My dad and I have recently started fishing again so that we can spend some more time together. We have been fishing at Presque Isle in Erie Pa (I’m adding where we fish just in case there are certain things for different regions) and are slowly adding to a collection of perch and sunfish fillets. I would just like to know if there are any special tips to catch more perch for a tastier meal.

Perch love night crawlers. The only problem is so do sunfish.
We always had good luck with a thin strip of perch belly, skin and meat. Sized for the fish your targeting. Actually any fish belly will work kinda like the strips of leather sold as crappie bait. Which would
Ikely work too.
Shiner minnows, that's all we ever used on Lake Erie
