Rope Tornado

Was out fishing when this tornado dropped out of the clouds. Didn’t last but 5-10 minutes. Sirens went off about the time it was dissipating. Radar showed it was going southeast. After that it turned into a beautiful evening. Nothing was biting but had fun anyway.

I’ve only seen a rope tornado in pictures and video but not in person. I’ve seen others but not a rope tornado, I thought it was pretty cool. Glad you guys enjoyed the picture and video. Nothing was damaged that I know of and storm headed southeast into Oklahoma.

Wow! I grew up with tornadoes (Midwest) but this is something I’ve never experienced. Very cool, and kinda scary! Thanks for sharing.
