I am looking for a new baitcaster. I primarily fish for walleye and northern pike. Any good suggestions?

You would want to match your reel to rod and type of lure you are wanting to fish. Lots of options just need to size new reel with equipment and fishing system.

Absolutely. The Curado K is pretty much bullet proof
Another is the Chronarch Ci4
If your budget will take it I use a Shimano Aldebaran on a G Loomis GLX 852. JWR.
Perfect balance and sensitivity can’t be beat.

I pair a Curado with a Zodias rod. The pair is wonderful. The reel is like silk and casts beautifully! Shimano also makes good spinning equipment. No, I don’t work for Shimano 😉
