I found some pretty cheap lures at Walmart, you guys think it’s worth it?

Good to learn on. Then you’ll appreciate nicer lures.

They're not worth it but they'll definitely work. What were you specifically considering? If that's all you can afford go for it. I buy my friends and girlfriend Walmart stuff so I don't feel as bad when they lose it and at times, they're catching as much as me if not more!

Just some spinners and stuff like that. They are $1

Awesome, I have had great experience with those so I absolutely recommend the $1 spinner baits. I've also been meaning to try their buzzbaits soon. The hard baits like squarebills work but I do think other brands have better action. Losing something cheap in a tree is a lot easier though!

You cry harder when u loose those very expensive lures even if they say at the store u will catch more fish with them
No, that is why they are cheap.
The only problem with our walmart is they only have the $1.00 spinnerbaits and buzz baits are 1/4 oz. and are hard to cast on bait casters unless you add a trailer.

The fish will never know what you paid for your lure.
That said you get what you pay for. Often you will see cheaper lures that look just like the high dollar lures you are using.
If you work at it you can almost always make the cheaper lures work just as well as high dollar ones.
Take note of how your favorite lures move through the water and adjust the cheapo to match it. I always change out the hooks on cheap lures. If my favorite is scented then I scent my cheapo to match. Often the only difference in a high dollar lure and it's counterfeit is the high dollar lure is professionally tuned and balanced and has top notch hooks. I can usually match catch for catch with cheap lures to the big name high dollar ones.
Cheapo lures are a must have when fishing a new fishing spot. Dosen't hurt as much to loose a hand full of 1 to 3 dollar lures as it does to loose a hand full of 8 to 14 dollar lures. I have found using cheapo lures has made me a better fisherman all around when using lures.
Now I notice right away when a lure is not swimming correctly and all the time spent setting up cheapo lures has made me a master at tuning my lures rather I'm using my name brand or a cheapo.
It's not the amount you paid for a lure that catches the fish it's how well the lure swims and how it smells and the sharpness of the hooks that catch the fish
