Hey there! Looking for some advice.

I drive a hatchback (VW Golf) and live in an apartment without a garage, but still want to invest in a kayak for fishing. Just tired of shore fishing and want to get out on the water!

I've looked into inflatables, but not sure they are worth the trade off?

Anyone in a similar position? What did you choose and why?

Thanks in advance!!!

Take a look at the Sea Eagle inflatable kayaks. Specifically the Razorlite 393rl. You might also consider an inflatable dingy and an electric motor but that would take up a lot more space and weigh more. Another option would be the Oru folding kayaks. If you get a kayak do not cheap out on the paddle. It is as important as the boat.

I have 10’ 6” future beach stores on back porch easily enough had in my spare room for a while . Bought a carrier for my bmw kayak was 180$ carrier 300$ I live in a duplex. My employer allows me to store my bass boat at our shop I have upgraded. Inflatable and hooks just seem like a hole waiting to happen. Carry some flex tape if you go that route. Good luck

I second Sea Eagle. I have a 285 and just ordered a 420. Buy a quality inflatable and don't worry about hooks. Go online and look them over.

Google fold up kayaks. I’m getting one. They fold up and will fit in your trunk and easy to set up. Says less than 5 min to set up and reviews say after u do it a few times it’s pretty fast set up
