I’m looking to get a new spinning rod setup. I’m currently using a diawa RG 3000 with 6’6” medium action ugly stick. I’m finding it’s been a bit too much muscle for the bass I’m going for and I’m looking to go a bit lighter. I like the feel of the pfleuger president XT 30 but I’m still locking down a rod and would love some input. I’d love something on the cheaper side that has a bit lighter feel than the medium ugly stick. I’d also love to be able to flex this setup on some trout.
TLDR Would love some rod suggestions, something maybe a bit lighter than a 6’6” ugly stick.
