Not to worry, no FWC officer will check your hooks......me, I don't use offset hooks for anything

I intentionally offset a lot of my straight hooks.
Im convinced it increases hook up rate.
Now I’m talking artificial lures here. Soft plastics , jigs and such.
I can’t remember ever gut hooking a fish.
I’ve had em choke it down pretty deep but never gut hook.
