Wondering if anyone has bought anything from wish or geek to cheaply supply their tackle boxes. Bobbers, weights, and lures seem like they'd be fine but what about the braided line, reels, and rods? I've been wanting to setup another baitcasting rod/reel also so if you've had good experiences with stuff bought from those apps, what would you recommend?

On wish the Spectra braided line has been ok. I also buy my rod jackets there for cheap. I avoid their terminal tackle though, so many other options. If you want to order cheaper tungsten weights, check out OMfishingsinkers.com build a $40 cart and get free shipping. I usually do a bulk order 1-2 times a year.

What was the lines biggest flaw?

Seemed to fade quickly, and seems rough, even for 4 strand. But has not broken on me.

So braided line is solid, as far as terminal tackle are you talking just swivels and snaps or is that including hooks and lures?

For hooks I tend to stick with name brands, especially trebles. You can buy mustad kvd trebles in bulk onlinenfor jot much $$$. I haven't tried Chinese swivels and such. Don't use enough to not just grab a pack here and there locally. I bought a couple of crankbait & jerkbait lots, and some of the colors were just ridiculous for where I fish, and the paint doesn't seem that great.

Also curious on the braid. Need some cheap braid for teaching the gf to use a spinning rod without annoying line tangle.

You get what you pay for.....don't waste your money on cheap braid or terminal tackle. Not worth loosing the fish of a lifetime. Don't use junk line to teach anyone how to cast....why make them hate fishing before they start?
