1. This is only parts of trailer not rusted through or broken
2. Basic frame
3. Tongue shortened and angles, same trailer length and width, cleaner stronger design
Wire ran inside frame to back as welded to each side to pull light wires. Fenders, guidepost stubs on back, leaf spring/ axle placement TBD

Sister’s 62 Buick Special 215 v8 put together from assorted donor cars. So oem parts including drum brakes no seat belts no power steering. Brother-in-law says he’s upping her life insurance

B4 I zoomed in I thought it was a Corvair. Can add power steering for safety reasons.

She wanted original, didn’t want even disc brake upgrade. So older car big steering wheel made without power steering so steers just ok. Not like when our power steering goes out today where system designed around it.

Can use washer fluid reservoir for vodka with tap under dash. Or make it into a squirt gun for pedestrians.

Hurry up with that as I'm ready to go fishing!! It looks good so far and glad you have the aluminum boat rather than the much harder to row wooden boat. There are lots of drift boats here for the Sacto., Trinity, and Klamath rivers.

Glad it’s coming along so well Shutup. Looks like you know what you’re doing. I can’t wait to see the finished product.

I read that drift boats origin is Oregon, converted from sea dory’s.
Thinking it’s first real fishing trip will be the north platte river in Wyoming, I’ve fished steelhead here from others drift boats but never rowed so I will do a few light water runs here before Wyoming. A couple trips on our NW rivers should cover anything they have. It’ll be different, the rowing seems backwards from rowing dinghies fishing in Long Island sound as a kid

And thanks Hacksaw, got the main frame done, but tallying all the additional “little” stuff still to be done seems like all the little stuff is most of the work
