One lake trout, one minnow Rainbow and a King! 39-1/2” 26” girth and Yep Fishyaker 32 #. Mark missed! Got her to the net first time and she rolled out the front. O.M.G! Got lucky and got a second chance. What a trip to remember.

Never when I’m fishing. I save that for special occasions. I lean to Fire engine red but am open for some suggestions! Got a favorite do ya Jeremy? Had you all wondering didn’t I😛

Nope OJ.. no need for that. I’m up in God’s country for a few days. Let’s see what kind of damage I can do to the fish supply here. Gonna run the spectrum.

SUPREMELY AWESOME! That is one massive hog of a Great lakes salmon guys! Way to go. The story of the fish bailing out of the net gives me goosebumps of fear that there might not have been a second chance! Glad it worked out in your favor!!!! Did it strike on a fly/flasher set up...like the blue/green one you mentioned on a previous trip?

You could get 4 huge fillets out of that salmon (slicing the main fillet right down the middle again!)

Fish, we got her on a spoon! Green and silver with a black accent and a big eye. Came off a outside board so it already had a whole lotta line to work with. Bout half way back it made a 100 foot plus run, what a blast. When we opened her up there were 11 alewives inside. Glad she was looking to top things off! She is headed for the canner that way I will enjoy the memory a bunch of times.
