What is your favorite topwater walking bait? I’ve mostly used the Strike King Sexy Dawg Jr., but I tried out the Lucky Craft Sammy a couple days ago and I love the action. I bought a Lucky Craft Gunfish to try next and I’m thinking about getting a Sexy Dawg Hard Knock.

Me too! Just Sayin....RJS
Still use the Zara Spook for walkin the dog. Hard to give up something that works.
Hard to beat the old Zara Spook; they will catch many species. (I'm looking at one in the mouth of
a mounted 22 lb peacock bass that fell for it.) The Zara Spook Jr can also be a killer and seem especially
productive in the Mexican lakes.
I love the way bass hit the Zara Spook. They hit it like it owes them money. One of the reason's top water is my favorite. I also like the Rattlin Chug Bug. Works about as good as the spook. Right now I'm refinishing 3 of my old beat up spooks. A new paint job & new hooks will put 3 old troopers back in the tackle bag. Doing 1 up solid black for nightfishing. Tight lines.
Zara spook, I change the factory hooks, a red one up front and 2 regular hooks on the back, remember to use mono on walking and buzz baits, braid for rats and frogs, just my personal choice
Joeband
I like braid with a small loop knot on my walking baits and poppers -- great action,
no weight on the lure eye.
