Looks like what we use to call a Warmouth Bass.
A Warmouth has 3 spines on the anal fin, the Rock Bass has 6 spines.
They look a lot alike though.

For some reason I cant get the photo to download. As soon as I read red eye I expect that it is what we call a rock bass
