I caught and released a lot of milfoil before I got this one. I totaled six largemouths in three hours on the pond - three 15", one 17", one 18" and this one, which was 21" and weighed 4#-13oz. I intend to catch that one again when it reaches 5#.

It is, and there are usually no other boats there during the week. It's great being retired.

When you are constantly pulling the milfoil off your lure you are in the right spot! Thanks for the pics!

Nice bass Tuboshu . Surprising Maine is not crowded this time of year. Enjoy the peace and quiet

When the stripers are running, the tourists pretty much leave the bass ponds alone. I often have a hard time choosing what to go after myself. So many fish, so little time.

I know exactly how you feel. Here's how I solved the problem, at least for this week. Yesterday my grandson and I went to the lake bass fishing and Friday we are going out on Long Island Sound for stripers and bluefish.
