Hi guys, I hope you are having a good Sunday afternoon. Well, I was trying to think up a good topic to write about, but.. im gonna shoot from the hip and see what comes up.
Jesus.
Jesus was fully God, but he was also fully man as well. He was tried every way possible to see if He would fail. He did not. However, we do see a slightly emotional Jesus in the gospels. Jesus went into the temple, and He saw what was taking place and He got angry. The verse is from Matthew 21-12.
"Then Jesus went into the temple of God and drove out all those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves."
He got angry and flipped tables, and at one point He even grabbed a whip and went after the money changers until they left His Father's house of God. Isnt that true with us as well? Sometimes the only way for Jesus get our attention is allowing sin to turn your life inside out SO you can raise your eyes upward. Jesus effectively turned the tables over in MY life, and showed me a new way. The truth. Truth about real life and the fact that I could really depend on Jesus after all. He turned my tables and cracked a whip my way... just as a good Father should.
