Not sure about “two or three healthy snorts”, but I DO know that 1 tablespoon will stop a bad case of diarrhea. I’ve used this “remedy” for 45+ years, even with my kids since they were young at 1/2 dosage. An old painter told me about it when I was about 20, so I was a little hesitant to believe until I tried it out of desperation. I was amazed and have done it since. I have no idea HOW it works, just that it DOES. I haven’t been a drinker for many years, but I keep a bottle of Jack just for this reason.
I assume any brand of whiskey would work. I use JD ‘cause that was my drink of choice.
