galena creek from 395 to Callahan road. its rough Brookes 🌈 bows and a few German bro wns. a piece of worm a 12 gold hook split shot on 6 lb test and knowing which way to walk when fishing a small creek. its too thick to fly fish and no one ever really attempts it. . limits in an hour easy. other wise pyramid or lahontaN or Indian lakes. washoe is good for catfish. Tahoe and Truckee are over fished for my taste.

I always start upstream cuz the fish are facing upstream less likely to see you and spook. But have caught plenty when working back downstream too, ‘specially when they come out from undercut bank, brush or other cover.

That's why I walk up stream the fish are facing up stream an I let my bait come back down just have to take up the slack.
