Snake bait

I tried to go to my catfishing lake. Unfortunately I went after church and it had rained overnight so getting into 'my spot' was not possible as someone else was already there. I have 4x4 but the roads are red clay mush and I chose to go to my bluegill lake and try out the snake bait. I found the snake was a very durable bait and used less than 1/2 inch of snake and caught 12 bluegill. It is a canoe/kayake/electric motor lake. I bank fish because I do not have any of those. Attaching pics of T&P lake and my frozen catch of the day. Last pic is of my striper and white bass catch from a previous trip to Lake Ft. Phantom with a fishing buddy, bank fishing. Caught all of these in 3 hours. Great day at the lake.

Limit is 5 per fisherman, greater than 18". We did this 3x/wk all summer long. Stocking the freezer....

Nice catch Hooker, I'm surprised it worked for the Gills, I figured it would work on Cats cause they eat anything. You have tested and proven a new bait, congratulations!
Nice Striper catch on the previous trip as well.

Hooker did you ever post a photo of your snake? If you did I missed it. Can you either tell me the post or post another one? Still curious. Thanks for the photos. Those both eat pretty well, don't they?
