Got here around around 5 pm and only had one bite but nailed it on a white rooster tail on my ultra light. Caught a nice rainbow about 1 1/2-2 pounder. Good way to start the weekend. It also got foggy while fishing!

Nice Trout Rut, looks more like 2lb.Plenty big for a meal.
Fred it would’ve made a great meal if I’d kept it but i released it. We won’t be keeping any fish on this trip and haven’t kept any except for bait in more than 10 years.

That's about the same for me Rut. I've kept a couple Trout, and a Kokanee for people who requested them. Otherwise, unless they're mortally wounded they get released to catch another day.

nice trout expect more pictures today
I wish I could catch trout year round locally. All the ponds and streams get too warm by June. Actually only have viable fish for about 6 weeks.

Good Job!
I fished there last Tuesday but could not find a fish for anything. Same story, day to early or an hour late.

Very nice rainbow R. I fished for a couple of hours yesterday a few miles dowstream from Bull Shoals dam and only got one bite but the rest of the trip has been quite successful with limits each day. We did about 20 fillets on the grill for dinner for the 8 of us on this trip. Everyone enjoyed it. Getting things cleaned up and put away today and heading back north in the morning. Have a great time and hook em up.

thanks for the pictures good catching
MAS looks like your group did well. Good job and good eats. So far I’ve only caught the one on an ultra light rod using a small mepps spinner. Going in again in a little while.

Check out the White River Rig on u-tube. They also call it the three-way rig. I used a white then an orange Berkley Power egg, then a small piece of raw shrimp and tip the hook with a kernal of corn. I use a 1/4 ounce swivel bell weight and a #6 aberdeen hook. Wishing ya good luck as we are headed north to Peoria early in the morning.
MAS fish
We had a good trip and lots of fun but unfortunately that fish was the only one we caught on this trip. They always had 2 generators running which made it to swift and dangerous to wade. The one I caught was on my ultra light spinning rod. They were supposed to have 4 generators running yesterday so we toured the fish hatchery. When we went and checked after leaving no generators were running but were to turn on 2 in about 30 minutes. On point in going. We still had fun though.

Where were you fishing
Looks like the ramp at Cooper Creek
There’s a boat ramp a little ways down from the table rock dam. Not sure what it’s called and it’s a little ways down from the fish hatchery.
