Spare change? You might want to request spare folded up bills hiding in the corners of our wallets. Wife's friend just spent $ 4K per tooth.

Wife's friend put $50k in her mouth. That same mouth will have it removed for free.

My youngest Son considered Dental School as he heard about how much Dentists make. Then he learned they have the highest suicide rate in the medical profession. That ended that. I have had good ones and had to change when they retired.
My idol was my Orthodontist when I was in Jr HS. This guy had an office with 8 chairs and his staff included a drop dead gorgeous Receptionist and his assistants who did the work was a lineup of 8 beautiful girls, all about 25 whom each could have worked on the Price is Right. I would ride my bike to the office after school and wait my turn for the torture. I would be in there with 7 others, all about the same age, going through the same thing, each of us fighting back the tears as we were all trying to look cool with thirty some sets of wires pointing straight up, out of our mouths. Their strategy was to snuggle up so my head would rest on their boobs as they would work, cutting the old wires off, pulling new ones, then twisting, cutting and tucking the tag ends in. I took in the scent of their perfume and stared into their nostrils as they worked. None of us boys uttered a peep, but we all had the same expression as we staggered out. At times, the pain was so bad I had to walk my bike the first mile or two toward home.
I can still smell that perfume to this day, some 46 years ago…even after Covid 😉
Now it is root canals and crowns and talks about implants and bridges…
That reminds me, I have a cleaning next week 🤦🏼‍♂️ Thanks, I guess. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I upgraded my dental ins during open season for this work, pays 70% for implants

Good move there Sinker, hope that remaining 30% doesn't have 3 zero's behind it.
