Dale Hollow Lake Tennessee Fishing Report: 04 June 2021
Dale Hollow;
Reservoir Conditions: Fishing is good. The water temperature is 71 degrees and the lake is rising.
Smallmouth Bass: Several smallmouths are being caught at night on jigs and spinnerbaits while fishing points in 5-10 feet of water in the creeks.
Largemouth Bass: Several largemouth are being caught at night on soft plastics and spinnerbaits while fishing shallow grass and wood in 5-15 feet of water.
Walleye: A few walleyes are being caught at night while trolling stick baits in 10 feet of water on the main lake. Trout: Several trout are being caught near the dam while trolling spoons in 25-40 feet of water.

Reservoir Conditions: Fishing is fair. The water temperature is 77 degrees and the lake is stable.
Smallmouth Bass: Several nice smallmouth are being caught on Ned rigs while fishing points and flats in 10-20 feet of water.
Largemouth Bass: Several largemouth are being caught on topwater baits in the early morning and late evening around flooded bushes in the creeks.
Walleye: Several walleye are being caught at night under green lights while grabbing shad in 5-10 feet of water. Crappie: Several crappie are being caught at night under green lights on minnows in 10 feet of water.
Bluegill and Shellcracker: Several panfish are being caught on crickets and nightcrawlers in gravel pockets and points in 5-10 feet of water.

Reservoir Conditions: Fishing is good. The water temperature is 81 degrees and the lake is falling.
Smallmouth Bass: A few Smallmouth Bass are being caught while trolling in the channels near "Schooling Shad in 30 feet of water".
Largemouth Bass: A few largemouth are being caught while fishing soft plastics and top-water baits around shallow cover in 5 feet of water in the creeks.
Walleye: Several big walleye are being caught while trolling nightcrawler rigs on flats in 30 feet of water.
Crappie: A few are being caught while fishing grass and woods in 10-15 feet of water.

Bass: Lots of bass are being caught at night on jigs and soft plastics on drops in 20-30 feet of water.

Fishing Licenses;
Fishing licenses are required in both Kentucky and Tennessee.
A reciprocal fishing agreement provides for sport fishing licenses from either state to be valid in the Wolf River, including Illwill Creek, beginning at the state line as it crosses the Wolf River at its mouth where it joins the Obey River.
Creel limits and other regulations of the state where the license was issued will apply.
Special permits are required in each state for trout fishing.

Licenses may be purchased at County Clerk’s offices, marinas and many other commercial establishments in each state.
