Not happy: I got a call that the the reservation i had made for a boat slip would not be available due to the lack of water in the reservoir. Not being able to use a boat slip i canceled my stay in the park. Today I received a 71 dollar charge on my bank card for this. I was not told of this charge at the time and since i cant use the boat slip don't think this is right. If I am wrong about this someone let me know but it hits me as a got you .

Absolutely not wrong on your part. Was it a credit card or a debit card? Big difference. But you can surely protest it, and you should. Certainly not your fault the lake dried up.

it was a debit card. thank for the input my ptsd is kicking. I had a isue with the park 2yrs ago when I launch my boat I had not put the plug in when I ask for help from one of the owners he said to me how much was i going to pay them to help get the boat back on the trailer

ive been fishing Bridgeport since 1972 and have had a great time but the new owner's at the marina on the lake are not customer friendly. one trip up i did not put the plug in the boat and after launching and putting the tailor in the parking area i walked back to the ramp and saw what i had done and ask for help getting my tailor back to the ramp before the boat sank and was told how much was i going to pay them. Now I get a call that they will not be able to provide a boat slip for me due to no water in the marina. with this I canceled my stay in the rv park at the marina dry camp for this I was charge 71 dollars or 1/2 the what it would cost for the stay that i had reserved. It was then not me that was not able the provide what i had made plans for.

I suggest that you place a letter on Facebook stating just how irresponsible and cheap the people are at this place and be sure to be specific about all the expenses and different types of ill stuff done there

God how I miss the good old days... someone did you wrong, you give them a life lesson with your fists. Post a letter on FB... hell, they'll probably give him the keys to their vault.

Yes 👍 those days are gone 🤬we can’t always settle a situation with our fists 🙏☝️At least that’s what my wife keeps telling me 👎🤬 it seems more fun to do it the physical way at times anyway it’s just good GD and grandpa are safe 🙏 I’m always having confrontation with JA’s 🦨 at Berryessa 🤬🤣😡

Write them a letter with your beef and the dates, times etc. (send it post and email and keep copy). Include the notice they gave you that the water level too low to provide slip thus prompting your cancellation. After you get (negative most likely) response to your letter take it too your bank. Ask your bank to deal with it and advise the next steps to obtain the refund.
Top tip above, use credit card for all such purchases.

As much as it ain't right hog, I think donut gave you some solid advice. Let the bank see what they can do. Heck hog, I need more than $71 to fill my truck with gas. Don't let something so small affect your well being.
