For what it is worth, I was at my youngest grandson's graduation party yesterday, and from what I heard is that Leech Lake, in MN. is really kicking out some nice walleyes. and that Devils Lake in ND. is now the Dead Sea. They have pumped so much water out of it, that all you do is ding up your lower unit. No Fish! The guy I was talking to was out there for four days, with a guide, and caught one fish.

Wow...what a contrast between 2 lakes! Nice to hear that the walleye are behaving themselves and feeding on what the fisherman have to offer!

Ya, fishy, that is always a good thing. They have been pumping Devils Lake out for about four years, the farmers want their land back so they can put it back into CRP, and the lower units hit all of the machines, buildings, and junk that was left down there. I have only fished it once, it won't happen again.
