Morels hunting in eastern Oregon mountains

Went trout fishing today getting there was great fun. Took our Tracked Sammie jump for her maiden run. She ran wonderfully. The fishing was slow but we made up for it by hunting these wonderful morel mushrooms. Trout with fresh morels, after a great day playing in the residual snow pack, it doesn’t get any better.

WOW, those are some HUGE morels, I’ve never seen any near that size, and additionally, I’ve never seen a vehicle with tracks. Pretty wild stuff there.

Now that's what I'd call a cool way to spend a day outdoors. Awesome back country rig...and holy mackerel those are huge mushrooms. A meal just eating one! Enjoy your feast and thanks for sharing!
