Thanks for the photo. I had to look up Lake Tenescal. I had no idea. What a gorgeous spot. How is that place just not over-run with people?

It’s a park with trails n beach area. Small lake, u can walk around it in like 20-25 min. They plant trout in the winter n catfish in the summer.

Definitely a good fight on ultra lite gear. He hit it hard so line was peeling off the reel immediately. Heart was pumping lol

Did you keep it or eat it? Tell the truth. That does not look like a stocked trout - their fins are generally all chewed up or beat up from living in concrete pens. That one's been out a while.

Oh my! That is one "plump" rainbow! Man o man...that had to be a blast! There must be an underwater fish food buffet that is open 24/7 for residents of that lake! Thanks for sharing another one of your adventures!

Dang PNW, Thats a whopper. I've never seen a Rainbow that fat, there must be an outstanding food source there. Thanks for the picture.
