Dont talk about this, dont even think about it. There were approximately 620, 000 deaths of both sides in the Civil War, the Union had 110,000 in combat, The South had 93,000 in combat, and Union had 360,000 total and the South had 260,000 total. Just Sayin...RJS

Your opinion is a good “example” of one’s opinion. Sorry. I wasn’t real clear on that🤷‍♂️

I don't believe o*******wing the government is the right term to use. I think we should make a change in 2022 and finish it in 2024

Mr. Trump did not LOSE the e******n; it was stolen through massive, coordinated fraud. In at least six key districts of "swing" states counting stopped with Trump having substantial leads; overnight tens of thousands of unverifiable b****ts appeared (out of nowhere?) to turn the e******n. Why do the Democrats resist audits of the process if such audit would prove them legitimate winners? Why do they oppose v**er ID and verification of each b****t as being from the registered individual? Because it makes it harder to c***t?

Many of us are wondering the same thing and STILL haven’t got an answer for any of it. I find it hard to believe that a man who can’t even complete a simple sentence was elected with, over, 3 times the amount of v**es than any other president in the history of our country. Hell, in some states, he had more v**es than v**ers. I just decided to have my own government for a while until this mess goes away. That won’t be any too soon in my opinion.

Let’s just hope and pray it doesn’t come to that. We don’t need another civil war.

The only way we should think about "overturning our current Government" is through persuasion not i**********n and ultimately at the b****t box not. It needs to start at the local level with state e******ns. Anything else will not end well. More than anything this is a battle for the hearts and minds of the people of this great nation. You want to change things then stand for the t***h, proclaim the t***h and defend the t***h with logical well thought out words not emotional, rhetoric intended to incite not convince. Finally we were a nation founded on moral principles from the Bible there was a recognition that this was one nation under God which was added to our pledge of allegiance later on. You want to safe this nation then do what you can to bring the people back to God one person at a time starting with ourselves. God is ultimately in control and gives us the government that we deserve sometimes to serve as a blessing and others times to serve as a warning. If this country is to be turned from the course it has taken it will be done on our knees before the all mighty God not on our feet fighting against one another.

Gentlemen: Sure, rational people are willing to talk. But if you read history, there were some hot headed folks in South Carolina who weren't willing to talk. They go and start shooting at Fort. Sumpter, starting the Civil War. Other Southern folks were less anxious, but were d**gged into secession, and possibly would have v**ed to not declare war.

Sam Houston was governor of Texas and was against secession. He was thrown out of office when South Carolina did what amounted to an act of war. Just Sayin...RJS

RJS as a historian you more than anyone know the t***h behind the following quote by German philosopher Friedrich Hegel: "The only thing we learn from history is that we learn nothing from history."
of course now days many just try to change history to suit what we want to learn from history. (not referring to you of course, you have reminded us of what really has taken place in the past that we may have forgotten and thank you for that)
And as a man of the word you are also familiar with the words of James 3:6 "The tongue is set among our members, staining the whole body, setting on fire the entire course of life"
thanks for your words of wisdom Robert

Both believe they have the only answer. Quote is correct.
Turn a 60s or 70s car radio all the way to the left and you end up on the extreme right.

Agree. When. It swings too far to the left or right it usually corrects to center.

That’s very true but sad to say it’s tinkering on the edge as we speak. Most people I talk to are simply fed up. Both sides. It’s not good and it’s getting worse by the day. Many things are nearly impossible to afford any more unless one is filthy rich. Myself? I get by fine but I don’t need much. There are WAY to many people dependent upon the federal government for survival and the government knows that. We need a major shift in attitude from EVERYONE. About half of the people I know would rather sit on their duff and collect a federal aid check than work. Until that changes the administration has everything flowing their way and things won’t get better for anyone. I’m retired and living on a social security check and I get by just fine. Our place is paid for, no vehicle payments, our monthly bills are covered by my check with money left over and my wife works full time at a job she loves. Way too many people live WAY outside their means and are too darn dependent upon handouts to get by. It’s why this whole mess started in my opinion. The powers that be can see “if we feed them they will keep coming”. Problem is the feed bill is on the rest of us and the connections are starting to dwindle for a feed supply at a rapid rate. That’s just my observation. Opinion you could say.
