Really want to thank Big A and Whitereb for helping me find a boat.
Big A has been sending me ads for boats that he searched for online and one finally worked out and Whitereb went with me today to check it out and make sure it was a good one. It’s a 2004 Bass Tracker Pro 165 with a 50 hp 2 stroke. With tilt and trim. Motor guide 46lb trolling motor. Hummingbird 598 fish finder. Live well and lots of storage. On board charger.
While I was out on the water Whitereb checked out the trailer really good and said it’s in really good condition.
Seller was asking $4500. I got him down to $3350. Yehaw. I can’t wait to get it out on the lake but I’m waiting tell after the holiday so it’s not so busy.
Thanks guys for your help. It’s really appreciated.

Congratulations FD, that's a fine looking rig, and at a good price! You'll be out there cranking in them Bucketmouths in no time. How are the regulations in Alabama, do you need to take a safe boating course?
Good job Big and Reb for helping Fish get his first boat!

For what it is worth, it looks like a good deal to me, the price was certainly right. Congrats, FD.

Thanks Fred. In Alabama if you are born before 54 or 56 you don’t have to get a license but it’s recommended that you take a boater safety course which of course I will.

I've been around boats sense I was 5 and I took the course at 60 just to reassure myself. Good idea to get a refresher.

First boat for me so I’m definitely taking the coarse.
Superb! Great looking rig...and nice to be able to "kick the tires" with a test run and trailer check out from an experienced fellow fisherman! You're gonna have some fun now!
Sort of reminds me a bit of one of my brother in laws that used to drive a localized delivery truck for UPS. He was always in the know on stuff for sale along his route. If you ever dropped a hint that you were looking for something, he'd have a few for you to check out the very next day!
Sure is nice when folks team up a bit to help each other. Makes life smooth and easy!
Awesome boat, Fish. Glad you finally found one you like and it sounds like a winner. Take the safety course and get after those big mouth bass that Guntersville’s known for. Can’t wait for the pics...🐟on
