Based on your smile I would say you had a great time...even though that particular fish may not be a trophy. Cute little rascal, and hey...the bigger ones all start out as little ones! Just great to have a chance to get out and go for whatever turns up on the end of your line!

Yea bk, that is the Gulf of Denver there with Utah in the back ground.

Are you in Florida? Do they have sand dabs there? Used to catch them little dabs off San Diego. They are delicious! That sure looks like one. Thanks for sharing.

That's about the size we'll catch all summer. They need to be 18 inches in Jersey.

Think Island Beach State Park allows 16 inch, all other places 18. Don't know why. Trying to find out.
