Eyecrosser Loc: Camdenton Mo. Lake of Ozarks.

Fished a day and a half Tournament this past weekend on lake of the Ozarks (my home lake). These local boys are tough. I had a limit on day one and four on day two. I finished 4 ounces out of first place overall. The fish moved on the second day due to the warmer temperatures and the CORE dropping the lake. Day one was a combination of frog in the brush early me then shaky head with finesse worms in the backs of spawning coves. Day two was a whole different story. No top water and no fish in the backs. I realized it quick enough to get four before the noon weigh in. I Caught them on day two off secondary points in the same coves but on a light c/r with small plastics and a mojo rigged centipede in 8-15’ of water. I did have big fish on Sunday-4+ lbs. 2nd place and the big fish pot for the 2nd day provides me enough to put gas in my boat the next few months.

Nice catching Eye, great job changing up on a short day two. Do they often change water levels in the middle of a weekend? You would think that they have all week to figure out where they want it to be. Good job, and congrats.

Thank you sir.
This is a CORE Fred. They change water levels when the so desire. Doesn’t make sense some times. I have an app on my phone that gives the hourly report on generation and lake levels. And I use it.

Ok,now I've got it. That's who controls our biggest fluctuating lake too. In fact I might be going there this weekend, depending on the weather. Thanks, and congrats again.
