Hi ! Welcome to our Forum ! And welcome to the Phoenix area !

We have several large lakes within
a roughly 2- to 2-1/2-hr. drive radius - added species for each lake that
they are noted for !

1/Alamo Lake - about 2 hrs. west
(Bass and crappie)

2/Pleasant Lake - about 35/40 min.
N/NW of downtown (LM/SM/Stripers)

3/ Bartlett Lake - about 40/45 min.
N/NE of Phoenix/Scottsdale/Tempe
(Bass/BIG flathead 'cats')
(Upstream of Bartlett Lake is Horseshoe Reservoir - either no motors, or none over 10 HP !)
(Mixed bag)

4/Saguaro Lake - about 20 min.
N/NE of Mesa/Apache Junction
(Lots of BIG bass)

5/Canyon Lake - about 20 min.
east of Apache Junction
(BIGGER Bass/catfish)

6/Apache Lake - can currently be reached only from the east end
(Rt.188) of Apache Trail (Rt. 88)
(About 3-1/2 hrs.) / (Mixed bag)

7/Roosevelt Lake - Rt. 60 east to
Superior, then north on Rt. 188
(Bass/crappie)

There are several trout/mixed bag lakes in the immediate Prescott
area; there are also trout/mixed-bag lakes 20 min. south of Flagstaff,
some with walleye and pike ! There
are also several trout/mixed-bag
lakes along the 'Rim', N/NE of
Payson ! Please PM me if more
(or more specific) info needed !
