mess hall I ever ate at while in
the Service had a sign posted that read - 'Take all you want - Eat all you take !'
Had absolutely NO problem
with that on days when they
were serving S-O-S ! Those
days, I'd usually have just toast
(with butter or jam/jelly) and a cup
of coffee, usually closely followed
by a trip to the 'gedunk' for a
Hershey bar, bag of chips and
a cold Pepsi to fill the void !

My last 'temp' job before retiring
was doing custodial work in a local
YMCA - the ladies' room was WAY worse than the men's room and it
usually took about 15 minutes
longer to clean (each one) !

I've heard that, as well ! Also heard/read the they are such voracious feeders that if they
grew to the size of sharks, nothing
in the ocean would be safe, and that you could totally forget about swimming at your favorite beach !

Big A the last time i went striper fishing it was a blast. When we'd see them feeding on top they took everything that hit the water. I hope to go again this yr. 🎣🎣
