Caught my 1st ever bass today, not including stripers. Also my 1st fish this year. 14" Largemouth on Texas rig Yum Dinger. Only fish for the day, fished for about 3 hours. Beautiful, peaceful day, sunny and 80.

Watch out now Yankee. Darn bass have a way of hooking you. Good job nice fish brother. I'd catch one now n then fishing for other species. When i 1st started targeting bass n got 1st 18"" SM i was hooked. For me i guess it's the hunt. I never use live bait. To me that's not hunting that's waiting. Now the hunt fir a bigger one begins. πŸŽ£πŸŽ£πŸ‘πŸ‘

Good for you, I'm a Connecticut guy too. If you don't mind, where is photo taken? Looks like Connecticut River by Middletown, just north of Arrigonni Bridge. No pressure if ya want to keep spot private we all will understand.
