If it floats the boat or fish off of the front porch.

You can bring a lawn chair and fish I-10 south of Baton Rouge. It’s closed both directions. The area had 15” of rain the last 24 hours. More on the way.

Too much rain too quickly and the interstate running through areas surrounded by bayous and swamps.

Wish you could share some of that excess - it sure would help alleviate your problem and lessen ours a bit
as well ! You keep getting that much rain, you'll need to mount pontoons
and props on your vehicles, not to mention having to wear PFDs to go
for groceries ! !

Obviously, your road buiders/ engineers didn't adhere to the 5-P principle - Proper Planning
Prevents Piss-poor Product !
Hope everyone out there is okay !

The same poor city planners that originally put a two and three lane elevated interstate through Baton Rouge in the early sixties with no room for expansion. All the while knowing we have a major river port and dozens of chemical plants and refineries right here. No need for future planning. 🙄🙄🙄

Hmmm ! Sounds to me like they
were chonic sufferers of a problem
I refer to as 'cranial rectosis' - they
had their heads stuck so far up their butts that they couldn't 'see' that far into the future !
