When I was stationed at Westover AFB and wind prevented us from the reservoir we would fish below the dam on the Swift River. Waded for trout and did ok as I recall.

As a kid , my father was stationed at Westover. We lived in Holyoke (sp. ?). There
was a general store about 1/2 mile down the road.
I remember the quad in reservoir and often fished the swift river from shore. Great memories.
