Lucky enough to fish a little bit off and on, just have too get up before everyone and fish between loads a few minutes.

Let them go got a message on my phone about 12 hours later after it was sent, from a dear friend I met at church that is more than old enough too be my mother.
She said who she was and said she was going into hospice Monday, she just wanted to let me know she said I love you honey.
The fish were let go we headed back to town to see her.
The fish can be caught again she can not be replaced.

But I am not really her first Sunday morning at Church we had metal folding chairs it was cold, just sat long enough to warm the chair up she was right in front of me, we stood up to sing.
I swapped her chair out for a cold one when she sat back down she was spring loaded, she turned around looked at me I held my hand out and introduced myself.
From that day on we have had a connection that was special.
She gave me a lump of coal the following Christmas.
Said there was still hope for me.
We have laughed about some tricks for years.

Is that the lady you often refer to that gives you the “writings” you pass along? She sounds like a special lady, for sure.

This one is a different one but they are all special.
She and her 2nd husband latched on too me and my better half they were fun to be with, she said yesterday she wanted me to go to his funeral last fall but with covid restrictions it wasn't possible.
He had no sons he and I fished a lot the last 20 years..
I learned a lot from him and her their humor was unrelenting.
They both had spouses that had passed and met at bingo.
Both will be missed, but in a better place and in no pain.
