Doesn't this sum up some of those skunked days. Then again there is so much more more to fishing then catching.

Gmorn Plum. My luv of the outdoors gives me the ability to remain patience. Enjoy the setting anticipating the rest. Still working on that in whatever I'm doing. Getting better at it. Y'all have a good day stay safe. πŸ˜¬πŸ‘

I am just glad the outdoors are still there this morning. Quite the wind and rain event last night.

Good mornin', plum. It seems the older I get, the more waiting I have to do, and I do not have that much time left to wait.

And sometimes when you pay attention to the fishing, the catching becomes not quite as important, always nice but not the ultimate goal.......πŸ‘πŸ˜ƒπŸŽ£

You nailed it Fly. The sense of urgency is stronger for me now than ever. Male life expectancy in the U.S. is 78 years. Take your age minus 78. In my case the number is 11. 11 x 365 = 4,052 days left. Could be more or less. Kinda interesting when you put the number in days, not years.

I fully understand. I still have the front flower bed to work on. She is getting bushes and flowers today.

It sounds really trite but all we have is today. One day at a time. The past has been lived. The future isn't here yet. Carpe diem (seize the day).
