Thanks Bassmatter. Not much of a bass fisherman but had a blast on light tackle. Couldn’t believe all the boats getting on the water with the wind kicking up white caps everywhere!

Nice fish , I was on New Melonies Saturday with my fishing buddy we caught 8 nice bass until the wind came up decided to get my boat off the water glad I did white cape started to show
If you fish New Melonies
Crawdad color or Crawdad gurbs still baits.

What do you normally fish for? Has the water come up on Folsom? Last time I was over there back late Feb, early March, it was way way down.

Water is still crazy low at Folsom. I’m more of a trout guy. Love chasing the big cuts at Pyramid, and browns Caples, Ice House, Loon etc...

My buddy is going up.to Bridgeport again I'll let you know how he dose.
We had a great day on New Melonies Saturday catching bass till the wind came up and I got the boat off the water.
I'll send pictures when I learn how tried need to figure it out.

Start a new post or select "quote reply".
