Hello. I am recently retired and live in Rockport, Tx. I am new to the area and DO have a bay boat. Any help, guidance, tips of areas in the greater Aransas Bay area are very much appreciated. I am still learning the bay area. I'm not looking for anyone's " Honey Hole" but would like some guidance on areas that are somewhat consistent for fishing when taking my grandkids and friends out. Am also open to going out with locals on their boat or mine. Thanks in advance for any and all assistance!!!

Good mornin', Chuck, welcome to the Forum. We have caught a lot of reds & trout off of the pike between Aransas Pass & Port Aransas. I never fished very much out of Rockport. The jetties, both of them, are good areas to check out. The North one seems to be a little better.
